The Joomla! package consists of many different parts, which allow modular extensions and integrations to be made easily. An example of such are extensions called "Plugins". (Previously known as "Mambots".) Plugins are background extensions that extend Joomla! with new functionality. The WikiBot, for example, allows the author of Joomla! content to use "Wikitags" in Joomla! articles which will auto-create dynamic hyperlinks to Wikipedia articles when displayed. There are over 3,000 extensions for Joomla! available via the Extensions Directory.
In addition to Plugins, more comprehensive extensions are available. "Components" allow webmasters to perform such tasks as build a community by expanding user features, backup a website, translate content and create URLs that are more friendly to search engines. At times, avast's performance does not match its advertised features. It performed poorly in heuristics (e-mail scan) tests, besides being pretty slow. It seems that loopholes exist within the program. Also I would like to see an estimation of the time the antivirus takes to verify my files on my PC.

Conclusion

This much awarded anti virus is worth a try. It benefits from incremental automatic online updates that are quick to download without an irritating system restart. If your Internet connection is persistent, the updates are performed automatically – that is without prompts – and at fixed time intervals. Having an up-to-date virus database is a smart way to protect your computer.

PCB Layout Software

ExpressPCB circuit board layout program is a snap to learn and use. Laying out PCBs is easy, even for the first time user. Here are the steps:

Step 1

Select the Components

Begin your layout by adding the components. Select the parts from the Component Manager dialog box. Many components (such as connectors) include Digi-key part numbers to make ordering easy.

Step 2

Position the Components

Drag each component to the desired location on your board. The Snap to grid feature makes it easy to neatly align the parts.

Step 3

Now add each trace by clicking on the pin of a component and dragging the trace to another pin. If you link your schematic file to the PCB, then the ExpressPCB program highlights the pins that should be wired together in blue. See Tips for making PC boards for more help on board layout.

Step 4

Edit the Layout

Making changes is simple using standard commands such as Copy, Cut and Paste. Rearrange the parts by dragging them with the mouse. Traces always stay connected to their pins, even when you move things around. You can set the properties of items in your layout by double-clicking on them. For example, double-click on a trace to change its layer or width.

 

Step 5

Order the PC Boards
